Ron Nelson has over 40 years in the commercial real estate industry with three different Sioux Falls companies. In 1986, Don Dunham hired Ron from the advertising industry, where he spent his first 12 years in real estate. His next move was merging his commercial group with Bender Commercial. In 2007, Ron started Nelson Commercial Real Estate (NCRE). From shopping center management and redevelopment to placing over 250 retail sites, Ron has helped sell and acquire over $250 million of properties across land, industrial, investment, restaurant, and business categories. Ron teams up with the NCRE group on most projects to give clients a multi-faceted approach to every deal.

A South Dakota native, Nicole takes pride in serving the same communities she's called home her entire life. She joined Nelson Commercial Real Estate in 2019, initially managing the company's administrative, marketing, and accounting functions. After years of supporting transactions and gaining valuable insight into the industry's operations, Nicole transitioned into full-time brokerage and serves as a Broker Associate, licensed in both South Dakota and Minnesota. Her early career was in the commercial insurance industry, where she managed complex healthcare accounts as a licensed Property and Casualty Account Manager. She's known for her professionalism, precision, and personal touch. Outside of work, Nicole is a proud mom to four daughters and can often be found coaching their sports or cheering them on from the sidelines.

As an Associate Broker at Nelson Commercial Real Estate, Steve leverages extensive experience in sales management and business development to help clients achieve their real estate goals. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from St. Lawrence University, which provided a solid foundation in analytical thinking and problem-solving. Steve spent 25+ years in the television broadcast industry, including six years as General Manager at KDLT-TV. For 13 years he was the publisher of Coffee News, and he also enjoyed working at the Greater Sioux Falls Chamber of Commerce securing new memberships and selling ads in Chamber News magazine. Steve and his wife Laurie have two grown children and love to cook (and eat) together.
